It is official, the Comcast Tower is a go, and here is an artist's rendering of the building in the Philly skyline (it is the tallest one, it is going to consist of 57 stories and tower 975 feet above the City of Brotherly Love):
It actually doesn't look bad to me, and it has a lot of benefits for the area:
- Creates oodles of construction jobs
- more retail and restaurant space
- a glassed in winter garden
- a much better entrance to Suburban Station
