Sign me up! And I really dig bowling shirts (not because they are ironic either, I just think they look cool. I also like Hawaiian shirts, and I am looking forward to expanding my collection this summer, so be forewarned. If you plan to hang out with me this summer you run the risk of standing next to a fat guy in a loud, perhaps ugly, Hawaiian shirt [look another parenthetical remark in a parenthetical remark, but how nifty would Blankbaby Bowling shirts be?]).:
Call me a stupid suburbanite, but I'm used to having a bowling alley nearby. It's not that I want to go bowling all the time or join a league or something. But having a nice little alley nearby to head to with some friends is a comforting venue to head to if nothing else pans out that night. Now, it seems, such a place has just opened in West Philly. I just saw the ad for Strikes Bowling Lounge in this week's PW for it. I wonder if it's gonna be a little too upscale-y like one of those "luxury" movie theaters. I hope not.
