The First Ever Blankbaby Contest Winner

You may recall the first Blankbaby contest was a race to the 1000th comment (it turned out to be the 1001st comment, but I digress). Close readers of Blankbaby will remember that the winner of said contest was Becky, of Good Grief! fame.

Seeing as how she is in Philadelphia the rules called for us meeting at an undisclosed location for the prize ceremony.

This meeting happened on Thursday, December 30th at the White Dog Cafe (Becky's choice since she is a vegetarian. She asked me if there was anything on the menu that I would eat, furthering the myth that I am a picky eater. I ask you, could I have my 'build' by being a picky eater? Ponder that for a little bit).

Becky, having met me before, wisely took some cold medicine before our meeting. For some reason I was a little out of it, I couldn't talk as readily as I usually can, and while drinking some water I spilled it all over myself. I think Becky was in enough of a daze not to notice anything was amiss.

I know what you're wondering, what was the mildly disappointing prize? Well, wonder no more! It was a container of limited edition Crazy Aaron's Mistletoe Thinking Putty:

I will be posting more about Crazy Aaron in the future, but suffice to say that the man knows his putty.

beckyandtheputty.jpgI forgot that I wanted to get a picture of me handing the prize to Becky, so I just took a picture of Becky enjoying the putty. Now, let me say that Becky is particular about the use of her visage, and as such I had to take 10 or 12 pictures which she examined and allowed me to use exactly one of them. To the left you can see Becky pretending that the putty isn't mildly disappointing. I made the photo on the small side because Becky didn't seem to thrilled with it (I think it looks fine, but of course I think I look fine most of the time, so do with that what you will).

Keep your eyes out for the next Blankbaby contest. I'm not sure what it will be, but it is bound to be fun!
